Tutóia is a town in Maranhão, mainly only a stopover between Lençóis Maranhenses and Parnaíba. Get in Several daily buses to Parnaíba, last one leaving at 2:45PM, 3 hours R$14. One daily to São Luís. 4x4 pick up trucks for Paulino Neves, R$8, 1.5 hours. These leave at varying hours, mostly corresponding with buses from Parnaíba, but the only one that seems to be guaranteed leaves at 10AM. There used to be a regular boat to Parnaíba, but no more.
