Tulcea is in Romania and lies at the western 'entrance' of the Danube Delta.

  • From Tulcea you can take a daily river-ferry toward Sulina and Sfântu Gheorghe on the Black Sea coast.
  • If you cross the Danube at Tulcea with a mini-ferry, it is only a few kilometers towards Ukraine.
