Tronda is in the Shetland Islands. It is directly connected to Mainland by a single track bridge. A further bridge at the other end of the island connects it with Burra

It is necessary to cross Tronda to reach Burra

From Lerwick, take the main road A970 northbound. Take the left hand turn for the B9074 (signposted for Scalloway, Tronda and Burra). Follow the road along the East side of the voe (inlet) with Scalloway on your right. Cross the first bridge to Tronda (note that the bridge is single track).

There is little or no public transport.
