Troisdorf is a city in the district of Rhein-Sieg-Kreis, in North Rhine-Westphalia,Germany. It is located along the rivers Agger and Sieg.

Troisdorf can easily be accessed by trains from Cologne and Cologne airport, by car from Cologne and Frankfurt via the highways A3 and A59.

From the main train station you can easily get around by bus to cities like Siegburg (line 501, 503), Sankt Augustin (line 508) and Bonn (line 551).

Close to the city centre of Troisdorf exists a castle built in the 16th century. It is called Burg Wissem and also inhabits a museum of childrens' storybooks and the civil registry office. Through it's red coloured walls it can easily be discovered by foreigners.
