Transfagarasan (Transfăgărăşan) is a road in Romania that crosses the Fagaras Mountains and links the counties Sibiu (Cartisoara village) and Arges (Arefu village) . It offers dramatic views and is home to the Balea lake. The road is DN 7C. In winter it is closed.
