From Wikitravel

This template should be used to tag (on the pages where they are currently in use) images from Wikitravel Shared that have been nominated for deletion.

The template accepts two parameters, both optional.

1. The name of the image, it is used to link to the correct section on Votes for deletion on Shared. If not supplied the link will simply point to the Votes for deletion page.
2. left|right - To determine the placement of the vfd notice on the page. Defaults to right
