The "and" in the title suggests this is two articles Yarmouth and Acadian Shores. Yarmouth County (Nova Scotia) links to a website that covers both. Huttite 13:10, 6 March 2009 (EST)
- "Yarmouth & Acadian Shores" is the official name of a new tourism region created in 2008. It encompasses parts of 3 counties and includes the Town of Yarmouth. It takes over former portions of the South Shore and the Evangeline Trail. troutpoint 13:50, 14 March 2009 (EST)
- The Wikitravel:Article naming conventions suggests it is not necessary to adhere strictly to official names. just because some tourism marketers have cobbled together two separate places into a tourist region does not mean we have to use the name they have used in Wikitravel. More importantly we cannot safely use the & in the name as it causes technical problems. If someone was going to visit the Yarmouth and Acadian Shores region where would they commonly say they were going? If you can answer this question with a name that is not Yarmouth and Acadian Shores then it suggests to me there is a more commom name that can be used. I am suggesting that Yarmouth is a likely answer, meaning the greater Yarmouth area that also includes the Acadian region -- Huttite 07:18, 16 March 2009 (EDT)
