Yes. For any county in the US, the proper (and most common) name is "Whatever County", with a capital "C". And since there are (as I trust you've discovered) oodles of "Union County"s in the Union, and none of them are particularly famous, that means disambiguating all of them. - Todd VerBeek 22:09, 16 July 2006 (EDT)
