[edit] Docent

I recently became a docent for Stevenage - User:Koolkittenjo 14:13 30/07/06 BST

[edit] Formatting

A tip o' the hat for all the work you're putting into this article, but please try to stick to the Wikitravel:Manual of Style for formatting the contents. Everything in there has been thought about long and hard, and Wikitravel tries to format all articles identically. Jpatokal 10:08, 31 July 2006 (EDT)

[edit] Nearby villages

Would it make more sense to include the information about nearby villages in the Hertfordshire article instead? The "Get out" section is usually just a short list of places, rather than detailed listings. - Todd VerBeek 10:22, 31 July 2006 (EDT)

Yeah, I did get a little carried away with the "Get out" section and I think it would be a good idea to include the info into the Herts article. jo 12:25, 31 July 2006 (EDT)

[edit] Guide?

Wow, this is coming along super-great! It looks to me like it's ready for a promotion to city guide. Any comments or suggestions before I make it so? Maj 10:55, 31 July 2006 (EDT)

I agree with the promotion! It could use a little MoS work on some of the listings under "See" and "Sleep", but I don't think that should stop the promotion. User:Koolkittenjo has done a great job on this! -- Tom Holland (xltel) 11:17, 31 July 2006 (EDT)
Really good article! One criticism- at least one of the pics on here I believe is not in line with our Wikitravel:Copyleft, I've posted a note on User:Koolkittenjo's talk page about it, also see Image_talk:Granbystevenage.jpg. However, I doubt it stops the guide from changing to guide status. Tsandell 11:37, 31 July 2006 (EDT)

[edit] Granbystevenage.jpg

I just removed the Granbystevenage.jpg photo, so hopefully the article's all OK now as far as copyright's concerned. I really appreciate your positive comments on the article as I have spent quite a while writing it, and it will be nice to see in future other people who know stuff about Stevenage adding to it too. jo 12:22, 31 July 2006 (EDT)
