Please note that, by the region definitions used here, Socorro is in the Central (New Mexico) region, rather than the Southwest (New Mexico) one. These things are somewhat amorphous, to be sure, but this seems to fit best. -- Bill-on-the-Hill 00:27, 24 October 2006 (EDT)
