Deliberate insult?
Unlike India, there are no cows, beggars, piles of garbage or people pissing on the street in Singapore's Little India, so yeah, it's sanitized. Jpatokal 23:11, 18 July 2007 (EDT)
- I've got to agree with Jani here - Singapore's Little India is exactly what you would expect to find in India if the government suddenly implemented huge fines for littering, profanity, etc and then dumped a ton of money into sanitation. I don't know that calling it a "microcosm of India" would actually be accurate, since in my experience you can't find anything like it in India. -- Ryan • (talk) • 23:49, 18 July 2007 (EDT)
