Malabar[edit]

I went to Malabar last night and there was tarp inside the windows and the sign was missing. I'm sure I was in the tight place, the restaurante was not. Has anyone heard any news? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.188.85.133 (talkcontribs) 24 Dec 2006

The county[edit]

I just removed the following block of events as they aren't actually in SC the town -- but I cant recall if the county has the same name and thus would call for some disambiging... and I even lived there... 17:54, 5 April 2006 (EDT)

There are several fabulous Art & Wine Festivals in the county. Please click on the links to see this year's schedule.

Capitola Art & Wine Festival [1]

Scotts Valley Art & Wine Festival "Art Under the Oaks" [2]

Cabrillo Music, Art, Food, and Wine Festival [3]

Boulder Creek Art & Wine Festival [4]

Hello, thanks for creating the new sections for the small towns of Santa Cruz County. I'll put those festivals in the appropriate towns

as I get to them. Unless someone else gets to them first! (I just found out about Wikitravel today, as you can probably tell by my errors.)

No problem! And please don't think of them as 'errors'-- wikitravel is always a work-in-progress. If I might make a suggestion: if you sign up for a user account (only takes a sec and no personal info or email required) we can recognize your edits and welcome you with some info and pointers that might be helpful. But in any case, we appreciate your contributions! I look forward to seeing more... Majnoona 22:20, 5 April 2006 (EDT)

The Truth about Santa Cruz[edit]

[Edit] I hate to say it, but this description of my hometown is pure caca. Summer is often cold and foggy, winter is often cold and rainy. Pristine beaches? They're nice for sure, but daily bacteria warnings for the water kind of puts a damper on swimming in the 55 degree F water. It's a great town, but let's not mislead people. The city's beauty and ambiance is somewhat dampened by the meth-heads and other nut jobs wandering around downtown yelling at no one in particular. Having said that, the anything-goes atmosphere is somewhat refreshing and welcoming to those of us who like things a little off the beaten path. The university is first-rate. Come to Santa Cruz, for sure, just don't expect the eden written in the paragraphs above. —The preceding comment was added by 72.14.121.130 (talkcontribs)

Somebody moved my comments off the main page so you wouldn't know the real Santa Cruz. It's a great place, but what they say there is just not accurate. —The preceding comment was added by 128.114.132.64 (talkcontribs)
Editorial comments go on the talk page, not in the main article. If something is incorrect in the article please just fix it. -- Ryan • (talk) • 15:38, 17 July 2012 (EDT)
