I just removed the following block of events as they aren't actually in SC the town -- but I cant recall if the county has the same name and thus would call for some disambiging... and I even lived there... 17:54, 5 April 2006 (EDT)

as I get to them. Unless someone else gets to them first! (I just found out about Wikitravel today, as you can probably tell by my errors.)

No problem! And please don't think of them as 'errors'-- wikitravel is always a work-in-progress. If I might make a suggestion: if you sign up for a user account (only takes a sec and no personal info or email required) we can recognize your edits and welcome you with some info and pointers that might be helpful.
