Merge[edit]

While this article has good information, standard Wikitravel policy is that most articles are written about destinations, and in order to prevent users from having to go to multiple articles to get information about that destination information about (for example) mountain gorilla trekking would primarily be kept in the Volcanoes National Park article. If that's not appropriate for this subject then an exception could potentially be made, otherwise it would be best to move this article back to appropriate destination guides. -- Ryan • (talk) • 11:46, 22 January 2012 (EST)

Thanks for the feedback. I was not sure how to organize all the info I wanted to capture. I just returned from these treks and thought that others would find the details about the process and guidance helpful. I am happy to merge it back with the park page but was worried that since I had lots of details data it would overwhelm the main page. Let me know if I merge it back what your recommendation would be for which section I should add it to (or if there should be a dedicated section) Thanks. Aporeilly 13:19, 22 January 2012 (EST)
Treks generally go under the "Do" section. A good article to model the trek information after might be Mount Kinabalu, which is another article with very detailed information about a single activity at a location. -- Ryan • (talk) • 13:35, 22 January 2012 (EST)
Thanks for the pointer. I will update. Aporeilly 15:29, 22 January 2012 (EST)
