Parapenting might be the same as or a variation of parasailing, but I don't really know much about it. See this site and a photo. DhDh 14:17, 5 Dec 2003 (PST)

Parasailing involves being towed by a speedboat while wearing a parachute (sail). As shown in your examples, parapenting is free flight. Tiles 20:40, 30 Dec 2003 (PST)
