Two scripts[edit]

This article needs phrases in the Arabic and Devanagari scripts. I reccomend Omniglot; type that on your search box. – CurvyEthyl 22:30, 8 October 2010 (EDT)

Devanagari? Do you mean Gurmukhi? One rarely runs into Punjabi written in Devanagari (which is the usual writing system for Hindi, Nepali, and Marathi). --Líolaind (talk) 14:10, 21 February 2015 (EST)

I don't know if it's my browser or the Wikitravel software, but there are a lot of places where I don't see a space between words; a lot of these are where a Gurmukhi word is followed by Latin-alphabet content, but some is within English text (e.g. "consonant a" shows up as "consonanta" even after I try to edit in an additional space. This is the first editable page I've visited, so I don't know if this is true throughout Wikitravel or only in the Punjabi part--fwiw, it looks okay on this page...). I've never encountered such a problem in any other Wikimedia site I've tried to edit (that would be Commons, dozens of Wikipedias but maybe not Punjabi, and Wiktionary. --Líolaind (talk) 14:10, 21 February 2015 (EST)
