- As there are two separate places, I'd suggest Oymyakon, which is what the article mostly talks about. The fact that it's a Pole of Cold can then be a nice Discover tidbit. Jpatokal 06:23, 6 October 2006 (EDT)
- Better, I think, to go ahead and treat it as a region within Yakutia, if anyone ever gets around to writing a Yakutia article. (Someone should eventually; Yakutsk itself is worth writing up.) Then the various little villages like Oymyakon that compete for the "world's coldest city" title can each have their article within the region, and duke it out among themselves.
