[edit] www.manayunk.com links
Though I read carefully the Wikitravel:Article templates# Where did the "External links" sections go? part in the past — and did so again a few minutes ago, I could not see what made the anonymous 61.47.110.57 editor think the addition of the sole reference to the district, Welcome to Manayunk, contravenes the holy rules. Please consider that there are too few information available about Manayunk to indulge in deleting, somewhat blindly — the link given. Is it undesirable as a external link, so be it! But it may be set somewhere on this page. I'm sure not the only one who would have liked to have this information BEFORE I got there and walk past local resources without even seeing them... It's sometimes useful to think adequately instead of applying general rules to a single case, ain't it? Korenyuk 19:22, 15 June 2007 (EDT)
- The Wikitravel:External links page explains the guidelines in detail and why they are so strict. If you think the www.manayunk.com link(s) don't conflict with the policy, try explaining why here on this page. If you think the policy is wrong, try explaining why on the Wikitravel Talk:External links page. ~ 58.8.1.171 20:04, 15 June 2007 (EDT)
