Talk:Pays de Montfort

From Wikitravel
Jump to: navigation, search

This page has a version in French Wikitravel which happens to be terribly formatted, with all these ugly links and un-standard headings. A poor soul of a new user apparently decided to make versions in English and Spanish through Google Translator, and these ugly links and un-standard headings have multiplied a lot overnight, specially in the Spanish Wikitravel. I'm trying to add some standardizing but it's getting harder to do it alone. 200.252.135.73 10:04, 20 July 2012 (EDT)

Yeah, I saw that awful article on French Wikitravel. I'm confused enough about this article, where I'm not sure what to do with it. Is it a city article or a region article? Should there be sub-pages? --Peter Talk 12:47, 20 July 2012 (EDT)

It's a region, the subpages are being created, but the editor ("Lindsey Lucie") seems to not have the least clue about Wikitravel standards and formatting, and the mess just gets bigger. Oh my. 200.252.135.73 12:51, 20 July 2012 (EDT)

VFD[edit]

This page looks totally like copyvio from local tourist offices put through Google Translator, and probably breaks every rule from our Manual of Style. A hopeless mess. Nuke it, I say. 200.96.163.57 12:51, 21 July 2012 (EDT)

  • Support. All the attractions and listings have been moved to their respective towns' pages. Maybe we should keep it to anchor the region, maybe it's unnecessary, let's build consensus over the issue. I think it's unnecessary and tend to agree with the "nuke it" proposal. 200.252.135.73 14:03, 23 July 2012 (EDT)
