Talk:Pawleys Island, Litchfield Beaches, DeBordieu

This is kind of a weird article title. I suppose tossing Pawleys Island & the Litchfield area into one article makes sense, but isn't DeBordieu technically part of Georgetown (South Carolina)? I always considered it to be. Although I suppose it doesn't matter too much, since there's not much to write about DeBordieu, as it's a lifestyles-of-the-rich-and-famous sort of gated community (although ordinary joes can rent there if they've got the funds). --Peter Talk 20:34, 17 June 2008 (EDT)
- To me this sounds like 3 articles merged into one. To me, the article title lacks clarity about what the destination is and has the potential to not be about anywhere in particular and risks another article being written about any one of Pawleys Island (already happened), Litchfield Beaches, or De Bordieu. It might be better if it was moved and renamed as a smaller region in Grand Strand or merged into Pawleys Island. -- Huttite 05:19, 18 November 2009 (EST)
- The best solution might be to just move this article to Waccamaw Neck, since all three are tiny and right next to each other on the small Waccamaw Neck Peninsula, and redirect the other three potential articles to that one. The only disadvantage to that solution is that I've been down there some 15 times for vacations, and never actually knew the peninsula name. But we can just explain in the intro that it includes these three communities. I know the area, so I'll make sure it's coherent. --Peter Talk 17:49, 18 November 2009 (EST)
