Manori is a tiny island in Maharashtra.

The nearest station to Manori is Malad from where one can take an autorickshaw (approx. Rs.200) or bus (best) route #272 to Marve Beach. From Marve, one has to take a ferry to Manori Island. This is a Govt regulated ferry. The cost is as low as Rs.2.50 per person, with additional charge for vehicle.
The last ferry from Manori island leaves for Marve at 23:45. If you leaving the place in the evening, be prepared to face the traffic on your way out of Marve.

This is a beautiful island. The sea here is dangerous for swimming though. Good place to spend the weekend. Though it doesn't offer many sightseeing spots.

The northern side of the island has a cleaner beach. A resort on this side would offer good view of the sea.

This is mainly a recreational place & being very close by, hundreds of tourist throng towards Manori on weekends.

Manori doesn't offer many unique buying options.

The apt place for any sea-food lover. Like most beach attractions, Manori is known for its sea food-shrimps, crabs & a must have is the prawns!!

In most resorts at Manori, outside beverages are not allowed. You do get mild beverages though.

Make sure you have your booking in advance. Also make sure that your booking is there in your name on the day you are scheduled to be present. Beware of cheats. Smaller resorts like Manori Bell are reportedly known to play with customer bookings - apparently, customer bookings are tampered with to cope the crowd at weekends. The local "rickshawwallahs" quip that it's common practice at resorts like Manori Bell to "request" customers to give up their booked cottages & "adjust" in a smaller stingier room.
- The Retreat is a decent resort.
- Manori Bell is another option, but book rooms at your own risk!!!
