Pulau vs Island?[edit]

As a rule of thumb, we've used "X Island" or just "X" instead of "Pulau X" for Malay/Indonesian islands so far. Does this need an exception, or would "Menjangan" or "Menjangan Island" be good enough? Jpatokal 12:19, 5 September 2009 (EDT)

Ah Ok. Menjangan Island would be just fine and consistent with that. I assume the "Nusas" are OK though? Lembongan Island and Penida Island would really jar! --Burmesedays 12:44, 5 September 2009 (EDT)
Fine with me, it's the most common name. Jpatokal 02:05, 10 September 2009 (EDT)

West Bali National Park[edit]

There is certainly an argument for renaming this article West Bali National Park as it could then cover Menjangan and other parts of the NP. --Burmesedays 21:53, 9 September 2009 (EDT)

Does Menjangan have accommodation? If not, or if it's very limited, a national park article (with the park template) would make sense. Jpatokal 02:06, 10 September 2009 (EDT)
Very good point. There is no official accomodation at all inside WBNP (forbidden). It would seem in that case that the park template would be a good idea. I will have alook at that. Your advice is really appreciated on all these matters. --Burmesedays 02:46, 10 September 2009 (EDT)
Have created a new article West Bali National Park which will be quite a substantial undertaking and encompass everything about Menjangan Island and much more. I would therefore suggest Menjangan Island is deleted. --Burmesedays 04:50, 10 September 2009 (EDT)
