Talk:Malaria

So this has been ided as a Wikitravel:Slippery slopes and I think we need to discuss it. On one hand, it's something that should be covered, and maybe we don't want to repeat the same background basics on every malarial-country page. On the other hand, users should be able to get all the info they need for a country on that country page. Additionally, I'd hate to see everything single traveller's health issue get it's own page ("Bug bites" "Splinters" "Blisters"). So where's the middle ground? Ideas?

I would say malaria is a big enough subject to warrant a page of it's own. Perhaps a case by case basis needs to be taken. I would like to see more info on the effectiveness of various antimalarials in various areas.
