Accommodation listings[edit]

Should any outside of Lucca citta' be listed? If so, how far should the limit be? What do you think? I thought 18 km was definitely too far. Is 5 km too rigid a limit? 10, perhaps? Or should everything be within the city limits? That would be simplest. Ikan Kekek 05:20, 7 May 2012 (EDT)

I think we should allow listings located outside the city limits, especially for smaller cities in countryside. 5 - 10 km sounds reasonable (nice bike ride). Jjtk 06:58, 7 May 2012 (EDT)

I believe 10km is appropriate, which is the equivalent of approximately 6 miles.

Thanks for your input. I decided to move listings for a couple of agroturismo properties that are more 14-17 kms outside of the city to Lucca (province). I think as long as the listed places are in the province but more than 10 km outside of Lucca city, it's probably best to list them there. Ikan Kekek 03:40, 9 August 2012 (EDT)

Sorry, but it is very misleading, if not false, to write Lucca Walls have been designed by Leonardo Da Vinci.
