I saw a newspaper article a fortnight ago [July 2006] that had the owner of Beano's record store saying that due to the downturn in business since the arrival of digital music, he was no longer able to keep the bricks-and-mortar store running, and that Beano's would soon become an online-only store. But I cannot find an online source for this.
