What's the meaning of "Lausanne - like San Francisco, but more Swiss."??? Rmx 01:11, 24 Dec 2005 (EST)

Hills in town, public transport as an attraction, laid-back cool people, great restaurants, happening arts scene, trolley busses (though the ones in Lausanne don't de-rail the way the ones in SF do), those are just the first things off the top of my head. Of course there are lots of differences too. If you can think of a better description then go for it. -- Mark 04:12, 24 Dec 2005 (EST)
I forgot a couple: Beautiful natural environment, strong tech sector, vineyards nearby. -- Mark 04:50, 24 Dec 2005 (EST)

lake or part of Switzerland?[edit]

Now Lake Geneva page is referred as a part of Switzerland and as the lake itself (see e.g. Evian), which does not lie only in Switzerland.

Should not there be a separate page for the part of Switzerland, e.g. Arc Lémanique/Léman arc/etc, as it is called here?

Or Lake Geneva should be only a page for the part of Switzerland, but not for the lake itself? It is also not good, because this region include places which are not only directly on the lake.
