"even Chinese women tend to wear headscarves"

They do? Non-Muslim Chinese women? Where? I would assume that Chinese women wearing headscarves are Muslims. I will eventually delete this phrase unless someone can attest to it. Michael 09:35, 04 Apr 2006 (UTC)

Yup, I've seen Chinese ladies donning headscarves in Tanah Merah, Kelantan, behind the counter at a small kedai runcit. They could be Muslims but this seems rather unlikely. Jpatokal 05:47, 4 April 2006 (EDT)

I'm surprised. I didn't notice that happening in Kota Bharu, or in Terengganu. But very well. The times, they are a-changin'...

Sleep Section[edit]

It's my position that there should be no listings in an article about an entire state. Does anyone disagree? Ikan Kekek 03:23, 9 January 2010 (EST)

Sungai Golok, Thailand or Sungai Kolok, Thailand?[edit]

Both spellings are used at this time in this article. The article about the Thai town itself uses "Sungai Kolok," but whereas there are "About 16,800" Google results for "Sungai Kolok Thailand" there are "about 144,000 results" for "Sungai Golok Thailand." We probably need to pick one spelling and stick with it (except for mentioning the alternate spelling once in the article dedicated to the town itself), but we also need a good counter-argument to such a conclusive Google win if we are going to stick with the "Kolok" spelling. One partial counter-argument (though I'd argue, not a conclusive one) is that some but not all and probably not most of the search results reference the Golok River (Sungai Golok) itself. (Relevant portions of this post crossposted to the "Talk" page of the Sungai Kolok article.) Ikan Kekek 06:29, 31 May 2010 (EDT)
