Budget Section[edit]

Hi I spoke to you about a week ago about adding the Hotel Yellow Inn to the budget section of the Kathmandu page. Well I've been doing some research and it turns out that the "Hotel Easy" has actually been sold and no longer exists. So if one was going to be removed and then replaced I would say that is definitely the best option, thanks.

This article was the Collaboration of the week between 26 June 2008 and 2 July 2008.

Nice photo but maybe it would be better to have it on the Bodnath page? It's actually in a seperate town... or on the Kathmandu Valley page would work too... Majnoona 14:33, 31 Jan 2004 (EST)

Coffee and Books[edit]

Should Coffee be under Drink or Eat? Should Books be under Buy? No biggie, but these aren't our usual top-level headers -- Colin 02:45, 11 Oct 2004 (EDT)

Yup, I moved them both down a notch. Usually I wouldn't give them headers, but books and coffee are a big deal in Kathmandu...

Bodnath[edit]

AFAIK, Bodnath (about a billions ways to spell that btw) is its own city, not part of Kathmandu. I'd like to move the image and the See listing unless someone knows better? Majnoona 02:56, 11 Oct 2004 (EDT)

Horizontal pictures[edit]

The Thamel cafes picture, being tall and narrow, throws the Main Page and the DotM archive out of whack. Any good short-and-wide pictures, anybody? Jpatokal 06:42, 1 Nov 2004 (EST)

Euro Rock?[edit]

What happened to the Euro Rock? Is it gone or just no longer "cool"? I played a lot of pool there... Maj 00:13, 20 November 2006 (EST)

Umm.. This edit [1] said that it closed, so I took it off. — Ravikiran 00:23, 20 November 2006 (EST)
Bummer... Maj 23:18, 20 November 2006 (EST)

Swayambhunath[edit]

Hey there, we don't typically give articles to individual attractions, Swayambhunath should be listed on the Kathmandu page. If it's ever decided that Kathmandu should be split into district articles, then we can decide then what to call the area around the stupa. But for now, please leave that article as a redirect to Kathmandu. Thanks! – cacahuate talk 02:49, 26 May 2008 (EDT)

durbar Square[edit]

Aren't kathmandu durbar square and patan durbar square two different places????

So then, why does this article have a section on "Patan Kathmandu Durbar Square" as if it is one place???

Needs correcting..... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 202.156.10.13 (talkcontribs)
