I'm not sure if this should be an article according to Wikitravel:What is an article?, it might fit better as an attraction for the nearest town... Majnoona 11:13, 26 Jan 2006 (EST)

I already suspected something like that. Dassen Island is a Nature Reserve and not open to the public. Can we move the data to Yzerfontein and get rid of this unnecessary article??? --Babbelas 15:14, 18 June 2009 (EDT)
