Malta has about 100,000 tourists at anyone time in the high season, but there are only 6 beaches in the entire country. Therefore it is significant that there is hardly anyone else there when one goes to the tip of Vittoriosa to swim. I'll tone down the language but I think it does merit being pointed out.
