Eats compared to Paris
Posted anonymously in from the Eat section:
I disagree with the opening sentence. Chartres is a bourgeois town and prices are similar to what one would find in Paris (or anywhere else, come to that). Of the eating establishments close to the station, most are non-starters (kebabs, microwave-oven chinese and a couple of uninviting bars).
I updated the train price as I've seen in the summer of 2015. It costs € 16 each way for the TER (and &euro. 8 or 12 if you have a "carte jeune" depend on the departure time). I didn't check the price for 1st class. 184.108.40.206 08:20, 17 August 2015 (EDT)
