Talk:Central Coast (New South Wales)
 Gosford a city, district, region?
Gosford and Wyong are the two areas (city and shire) that make up the central coast.
When structuring the region, we have a few options.
- Just have one article for the Central Coast (New South Wales). Build it up to be a comprehensive reference for the area
- Let Wyong and Gosford be two regions under the central coast. Build them up as destination articles, and perhaps develop one or two sub-articles that tend to be major tourist destinations
- Let every suburb of the Central Coast develop its own article. If there is someone prepared to develop the content, why not?
- Let the Central Coast contain the regional information. Develop Gosford, Wyong, The Entrance, and other popular destinations as their own articles. Ignore Gosford and Wyong as regions, and just treat them as suburbs/towns like any other.
I'm in favour of option 2. This is like the Illawarra region is developing, with the three cities ot Wollongong, Shellharbour and Kiama making up the region of the Illawarra. In this way, Wyong and Gosford would make up the Central Coast (New South Wales), with additional destination articles only added when the content justifies them. --Inas 01:52, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
