The website listed for Georgian Railways does not list Batumi as a stop on any of their trains...Ozurgeti and Poti are the nearest cities listed listed as stops. Any comments/info?AHeneen 04:11, 20 October 2008 (EDT)
- That's odd—the rail system definitely extends to Batumi. As of 2005 I took the train there from Tbilisi before switching to a cab to the Turkish border. But I guess I don't know what the situation is following the bombings last month. --Peter Talk 16:22, 20 October 2008 (EDT)
The station for Batumi is called Makhindjauri and is located about 5 km north of Batumi center. —The preceding comment was added by Bouncer (talk • contribs)
