Photo of Peninsula Hotel[edit]

I would normally delete such a photo as an advertising photo, but it's a well-composed photo and the view is arguably of some interest. What do you all think? On balance, I consider this a slippery slope and think the wisest course of action would be to delete, but one possible alternative is to take out the name of the hotel from the photo and just call it "View of a Thonburi hotel." I added this image. The Peninsula is not just "a hotel", it is one of the most luxury hotels of the world, it is very famous and might even be considered a landmark. Many travellers hop on the Peninsula's free cross-ferry to have a drink or bite at one of their cafes. It's not just for lodging. --Globe-trotter 11:12, 17 November 2011 (EST)
Thanks for the explanation, and I'm glad I didn't act rashly but asked for feedback. All the best, Ikan Kekek 17:37, 17 November 2011 (EST)

Wat Bang Mot[edit]

Wat Bang Mod

Yesterday, a user created a destination page for Wat Bang Mod. Do you all think this should just be added as a "Do" under the location in which this temple resides? Or does it deserve its own page? The page can be found here; Wat Bang Mod. Tonikar (talk) 01:40, 5 April 2017 (EDT)

I would say we move the information to the location article where this temple is, based on the info it does not justify its own article. Adzas (talk) 16:09, 9 April 2017 (EDT)
I have checked out this article, as a person who knows Thailand well.
It appears that it may be in some part of BKK, but I have asked a Thai friend to check it out for me as the only website with much info is totally in Thai, which I can only speak and read slowly. So I will repost once I get an answer. Avemario (talk) 04:09, 11 April 2017 (EDT)
Excellent, thanks! Adzas (talk) 11:13, 11 April 2017 (EDT)
Hi Adzas! It is in Bangkok and should be located in the Thonburi part of BKK. The Temple address is Moo 4, Soi 33, Pracha Utit Rd, Bangmod, Thungkru BKK 10140. Bus number 140 goes from Victory Monument to Soi 27 in Pracha Utit Road.
I lack the expertise to do this, so I guess I have to leave it to you. Avemario (talk) 02:17, 12 April 2017 (EDT)
Hi Avemario, thank you so much for your efforts, help, and the valuable information! Very much appreciated! It has been added to Bangkok/Thonburi. Thank you once again. --Binbin (talk) 09:51, 12 April 2017 (EDT)
