I do not think Mysore is 89 km from this place. From mysore aproximatly 75km is Bandipur forest office. This is where rides start. That can be considered as bandipur(for distance calculation). If you drive 89 km from mysore palace(centre of mysore for distance calculation), you will cross over to tamilnadu state, and will even cross mudhumalai forest office (88 km from mysore) -Kiranbg 08:37, 19 November 2008 (EST)
