Talk:Luang Phrabang

[edit] Unusual edits
The series of edits going on in reference to this article seems kind of weird to me. Can somebody who knows something about Laos please check this situation out ? Thanks ! -- Mark 19:03, 11 Dec 2005 (EST)
- Pages Luang Prabang and Luang Prapang redirect to each other and neither can be edited (looks like it's been stuck like that for about 9 months).
- When that problem is resolved, the article should be Luang Prabang
- Luang Prapang should redirect to Luang Prabang
- Louang Prabang should redirect to Luang Prabang
- Luang Phrabang should redirect to Luang Prabang
- This needs to be fixed by Evan at the database level. In the meantime it is helpful to have an active link from the Wikitravel:Votes for deletion page so that we can verify whether or not the issue still exists. -- Ryan 20:01, 11 Dec 2005 (EST)
Links from other articles to Luang Prabang now back as they originally were. Although Luang Prabang now no longer looks like a redirect, "what links here" suggests otherwise and the problem remains.
Suggestion for when it's been fixed:
- Delete Luang Prabang
- Revert Luang Prapang to 11:33, 26 Feb 2004
- Rename Luang Prapang to Luang Prabang
- Create a new Luang Prapang and redirect it to Luang Prabang
