There are tuk tuks here which will charge a reasonable price to go to where you want. Negotiate the price with the driver first.

  • unnamed night shack, (across the street from Esso gas station and Extra Hotel). evening time. The best Look Chin Pla (fish ball soup) at this nondescript little place. Plastic stools, tables, pitchers of water. 40B for good Look Chin Pla. 40B.  edit

Restaurants are a little scarce in this fairly small place. There are street eats at the night market some 300 metres south from the bus station, and also the bus station restaurant is open until 11pm, and a fried rice with chicken is B35.

Extra Hotel, 46 Senarath Rd (~500 metres south of the bus station, over the bridge, 50 baht via tuk tuk. Behind the Esso gas station. Looks like you're going to a truck stop then, BAM, there's a hotel.), +66 76 421 026. Well-known in town. Typical Thai mid-range hotel, just a little worn. Minimal English. As at March 2014, an aircon room here was B500. The place is well worn and pretty basic, but is clean enough. 303B fan room. (n8.87,e98.3459) edit
