With train it is possible to reach Tällberg from Stockholm without change. From the nearby railway hub Borlänge numerous trains head for Tällberg.
Enjoy the magnificant view over lake Siljan and sorrundings from Hotel Långbergs, at the top of the mountain.
Watch the local football/soccer team Tällbergs IF (in division 5 or 6) during the season may - september (no games in july).
Take a swim in lake Siljan, at the small beach.
Shop handcraft, like Dalecarlian horses in one of the souvenir shops at the hotels.
Play golf at Plintsberg/Tällberg golf course (9 holes)
Have a cup of cofee at Holen gammelgård - the home of the artist and architect Gustaf Ankarcrona, in the summer time and pet the goats.
There are eight hotels/guesthouses in Tällberg. Quiet impressive for such a small village as Tällberg, with only 300 inhabitants. The biggest and most luxuary hotel would be Hotel Dalecarlia. The smallest, but maby the nicest, would be Hotell Siljanstrand, close to the small beach at lake Siljan.
Take the train to Rättvik, Mora or - in the oposite direction - to Leksand. You can also take the bus to Rättvik or Leksand, but the price is almost the equal compared to the train fare.
