The local Transilvania Airport [1] has flights from Budapest with the low cost airline WizzAir [2] and with MALEV [3]), respectively from Bucharest with TAROM [4].

There are five daily trains from Brasov (takes 6 1/2 - 9 hours), two from Bucharest ( 9 1/2-10 hours) and one from Timisoara (6 1/2 hours away). There's also a daily international train coming from Budapest.

There are frequent buses to/from Brasov (trip takes about 3 hours), passing through Sighisoara.

• Whats up, Calarasilor str (At the end of the main strip (coming from the Mall) turn left on the far side of the road. you should see the sign on the road and then its through the arch down the stairs). This small bar gives a cave style feel and is clean and well organized. You can buy 50ml or 100ml cognacs or whiskys for 2 - 6 euros. And they have a decent range of beer, coffee, tea, and the popular Hot chocolate drinks in various flavors. Worth checking out. good.  edit
