  • Suzuka Circuit (鈴鹿サーキット, Suzuka Saakitto), [2]. Opened in 1962 as Japan's first full-fledged auto racing track, it is one of the world's only figure-8 racetracks. As of late, the circuit has returned to the Formula One calendar. The other famous race held at the circuit is the Suzuka 8-Hour Endurance Race, a prestigious event in the FIM's World Endurance Championship.  edit
