There is very little public transportation available in Succasunna. The majority of residents travel by automobile.

Horseshoe Lake is one of the main attractions located in Succasunna. Horseshoe Lake is a man-made body of water, shaped as a horseshoe. The land surrounding the lake is home to several ballfields, a four-net basketball court, 2 volleyball sandpits, the Imagination station playground, a bike path, and several walking/running paths. Throughout the summer this area is home to fairs and carnivals and may be used for personal picnics and cookouts.

Succasunna is home to the Roxbury Mall as well as several other free-standing stores and restaurants, mainly chain businesses.
