Springfield Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in Springfield, Virginia, located at the intersection of Interstate 95 and Route 644 (Franconia Road). It was constructed in 1972 by developer Arthur M. Fischer and expanded in the late 1980s. It is operated by Vornado Realty Trust, which purchased an option to buy the mall in 2005.[1] In early 2006, Vornado took control of the mall. There are major anchors like Macy's and JC Penny. Stores like Journey's, Target, American Eagle, and Sports Authority keeps many shoppers coming. They are planning to make the mall bigger, with more stores and a better exterior. It is planned to be on renevations soon, so some stores may be closed.

Go to Calico Corners for a great selection of furniture. American Eagle Outfitters and Aeropostale are the place for teenage fashions in Springfield.
