Sogndal is a small but important town in Sogn og Fjordane.

There is a small airport south of the town, (IATA: SOG). It is served by the company Widerøe. There are scheduled flights from Oslo and Bergen.

There are express buses three times a day from Oslo, four times a day from Bergen.

[edit] By boat

Express boat two times a day from Bergen, in the summer. Only once daily during winter, between 1 September and 30 April. This route is operated by Fjord1.

Route 5 from Førde and Skei. Route 5 from Lærdal, who is connected by Oslo and Bergen by route E16.

There are local buses operated by Fjord1.
