Sekondi and Takoradi are twin port cities (now a single municipality) in Western Ghana.

Market Circle is the "mall" of Takoradi. About the size of a high school football stadium and instead of a field in the middle it is criss-crossed with pathways that would rival any maze with booths and other shelters selling anything you may be looking for. Additionally, on the outside encircling street is again lined with just as many shops if not more, Muslim money changers (Euros or Dollars), cell phone time sellers and anything else you can imagine. Its a wonderful unknown to explore and take in.

The drinking spot Rockhead, just up from Market circle is a perfect place to relax in town! Or a short walk outside town to Africa beach is a little bit of luxary and the perfect way to cool down! hhh
