Santa Teresa (La Convención) is a town within the Southern Sierra of Peru in the province of La Convención.

Take the bus from Cusco to Quillabamba and get off at Santa Maria. From Santa Maria either hike up the Santa Teresa river or take the death bus to Santa Teresa.
Daily buses run to Quillabamba from the Santiago terminal in Cuzco (7-8 hours, ~ 4US$) via Santa María. Turismo Ampay is the recommended company to go on this trip with.
