Sanford is a city located in Seminole County, East Central Florida.

is now known for being the oldest City in Central Florida founded before the days of downtown Orlando. Sanford has become a great place to live, do business and enjoy life. Its "hometown environment" is unlike any other town in Central Florida. Over the years our friendly residents have worked hard to restore many of the Victorian and Early American homes while the City has invested heavily in restoring downtown.

In Sanford, the southern Terminus of the Amtrak Auto Train carries passengers and automobiles between Sanford and Lorton, Virginia, effectively serving as a car-rail link from Florida to the Washington, D.C. Metro Area.
