Sunset in Sandringham

Sandringham is one of seven communities on the Eastport Peninsula. The Eastport Area has been popular with Newfoundland's holiday-makers for years. The peninsula is located on the north-western border of Terra Nova National Park and is famed for its sandy beaches, beautiful scenery and traditional Newfoundland outport heritage.

[edit] Understand

This charming little community is named for the Queen’s palace of Sandringham House. As you enter Sandringham, you will find Chuff’s Bight lookout and just down the road is the beautiful little area known as Chuff’s Bight Park. There is a nice little beach area where you can launch a boat, have a cook up, get a tan, go for a swim or just admire the surrounding landscape.

Fresh produce may be purchased from local farms and local fishing holes can be found (with the help of a knowledgeable resident!)

Sandringham’s relaxed atmosphere and peaceful farmland setting will make your time here enjoyable.
