Sanday is one of Scotland's Orkney Islands

Sanday is about 20km long but not very wide, but with long sandy beaches around its coast.

Twice daily Orkney Ferries[1] travel between Kirkwall and Loth.

Once or twice daily Loganair[2] flights link Sanday with Kirkwall.

A minibus connects with the ferries. Hiring a bicycle is a good way to get around and see the island.
