San Miguel (El Salvador)

San Miguel is the third largest city in El Salvador. It is less modern than its neighbors Santa Ana and San Salvador but does have shopping centers. It is also a center of agriculture and production. San Miguel is very beautiful with many beaches around the city. The weather is amazing, very warm and subtle.

Since 2004, San Miguel doubled its size, which made the city invest in malls around the modern areas of San Miguel. Metrocentro is one of the newest mall in San Miguel. Now the city has 2 malls and many other plazas in the important areas.

San Miguel, like any other modern city, has a lot options, either fast food restaurants such as, McDonalds, Burger King, Biggest, Pizza Hut, Dominos Pizza, Pollo Campero, Pollo Campestre, Wendy's. Or, for sit down restaurants, in Metrocentro you have a few options, you just need to stay near the Panamericana Highway, all the modern life is there.

San Miguel has the most modern hotels in the eastern side of El Salvador, right in front of Metrocentro you will find a four star hotel, Comfort Inn a few miles ahead there's another good option,the Hotel Tropico Inn. They both have bilingual staff, free wi-fi internet access, cable, AC, pool, and the most important thing, you're safe from any kind of vandalism.
