Salta (province)

Salta is a province of Argentina. The western part of the province is in the Andean Northwest region, the eastern part is in the Chaco region.

Salta has been developping to one of the most visited provinces by national and international tourists. Therefore it offers a large range from very basic (hostels, family stay) to quiet luxurious (5* and boutique hotels) loging facilities. Smaller towns outside the tourism hotsports mostly only offer simple accomodation options.

  • Turismo Campesino, (Valles Calchaquíes), [2]. Turismo Campesino is a cooperative os small-scale farmers in the Valles Calchaquíes. After previous reservation, its members offer simple loging and eating at their homes, as well as guided tours.  edit
